Website Design for Guesthouses, Hotels & Lodges

Give prospective guests a clear picture of the stay before they ask about availability. We design accommodation websites around rooms, location, practical information and a simple route to a direct-booking enquiry.

Built around your next enquiry

Answer the questions before arrival

Parking, breakfast arrangements, check-in times and accessibility information help guests decide whether your property fits their trip. Put these details where mobile visitors can find them.

Support direct enquiries

Make the route from a room description to an availability request clear. Distinguish a booking enquiry from a confirmed reservation so guests know what happens next.

Build confidence in the experience

An organised gallery and accurate accommodation descriptions give travellers a useful view of the property, rather than asking them to rely on a generic marketing headline.

What your website needs to explain

Room pages with meaningful differences

Explain sleeping arrangements, amenities and who each room suits. For guesthouse website design, a focused room overview may be enough; a larger hotel website may need separate room-type pages.

Galleries that work on mobile

Group supplied images by rooms, shared spaces and surroundings. Size imagery for the layout, reserve its space and load lower-page galleries progressively so photography does not overwhelm the visit.

Clear booking-engine boundaries

An external booking link, an embedded engine and live availability integration are different scopes. We review the provider, technical access, fees and mobile behaviour before quoting a connection.

Location and local discovery

Describe actual access, nearby points of interest and the area you serve. A lodge or bed and breakfast website should answer travel questions with useful information, rather than repetitive location keywords.

A clear process, from brief to launch

  1. Map the guest journey

Identify your accommodation types, audience and current direct-booking process.

  2. Agree rooms and connections

Scope the room pages, supplied media and any booking-provider requirements.

  3. Design around the stay

Build readable room information, a mobile gallery and clear enquiry routes.

  4. Review before launch

Check property facts, links, policies and the agreed booking hand-off together.

Choose the right starting scope

A compact guesthouse can begin with a focused one-page presentation if the content fits. Multiple room types, a large gallery or booking-provider work may need a broader scope. Compare the existing packages, then ask us to quote the accommodation requirements explicitly.

The packages below are our existing website packages. Industry-specific features and third-party integrations are included only where expressly agreed in your quotation. Delivery depends on scope, supplied content and approvals; domain, hosting and renewal terms are confirmed before work begins.

Starter domain and hosting costs are disclosed separately unless your quotation states otherwise. Professional covers one website option, not a business website and a store together. Optional website care, SEO, marketing and growth services are scoped and quoted separately; ongoing maintenance is not included in the once-off build. Accommodation websites for Cape Town, the Western Cape and beyond

A city guesthouse, a coastal self-catering property and a rural lodge answer different guest questions. Your content should reflect the real stay: how to arrive, what is provided and how guests can check availability with you.

We plan hospitality web design for South African businesses without implying that we operate an accommodation property or a local booking office. Useful regional context comes from your verified property information and knowledge of your guests.

Questions before you commission your website

Can you build a guesthouse website without a booking engine?

Yes. A room overview, gallery and clearly labelled availability enquiry can be a sensible starting point. Your team would still confirm availability, rates and the reservation. We agree whether the website uses an external booking link or an enquiry route before quoting.

Can you connect the website to my existing booking system?

Potentially, subject to the provider's supported connection methods and your requirements. A link, embed and custom integration require different work. Provider permissions, subscription fees and ongoing responsibilities must be confirmed; integration is not automatically included in a website package.

What should I prepare for hotel or lodge website design?

Supply approved photography, room descriptions, amenities, location details and current guest policies. Identify who checks rates and availability information. We use your actual property details rather than stock images presented as your rooms.

Will guests be able to enquire from a phone?

The layout and enquiry links are designed for mobile screens. Clear room information and sensible image sizes help guests reach the next step. Any third-party booking screens need to be reviewed separately as part of the scoped connection.

Can my own WhatsApp number appear on the website?

A link to your supplied business number can be discussed in scope. Agree who answers messages and how quickly you can respond. A WhatsApp conversation should not be represented as a confirmed reservation unless your own booking process confirms it.

Does accommodation website design include photography?

The existing packages expect client-supplied images and brand assets. Photography, copy creation or extensive image preparation need a separate agreement. Accurate, well-chosen property photographs are particularly useful for room pages and galleries.

Will the website improve my local search rankings?

Useful location information and technical SEO foundations support discoverability, but rankings cannot be guaranteed. Search visibility depends on your content, competition and ongoing work. We do not quote unverified Cape Town search volumes as a result forecast.

What happens when rooms, rates or policies change?

Agree an update process before launch. The website and your booking provider may hold different information, so responsibilities need to be clear. Ongoing content updates, support and maintenance are discussed and quoted separately where required.
